Terms of Service

This website and online store are operated by Verdestry LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("Verdestry," "we," "us"). By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Products

Our candles, wax melts, and room sprays are hand-poured in small batches. Because each item is handmade and our candles are made with soy wax, natural variations in color, surface texture, and appearance (including soy wax "frosting" and surface cracking) are normal and are not defects. Product photos are representative; scent perception varies from person to person.

We work to display prices and availability accurately, but errors can occur. If an item is listed at an incorrect price or becomes unavailable after you order, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund, and we will notify you.

Safe use of our products — please read

Candles are open-flame products and must be used with care. Every Verdestry candle carries a warning label with burning instructions. By purchasing and using our products, you agree to follow them, including:

• Burn within sight. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from flammable objects, drafts, children, and pets.
• Trim the wick to 1/4" before each lighting, and keep the melt pool free of matches and wick trimmings.
• Burn on a level, fire-resistant surface, for no more than 4 hours at a time.
• Stop use when only 1/4" of wax remains.

Room sprays are for scenting a room's air only, exactly as directed on the label: use in a well-ventilated room and away from open flame; do not spray toward your face or eyes; not for use as a body spray; do not spray directly on furniture or finished wood.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verdestry LLC's total liability for any claim arising from a product you purchased from us is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for injury, property damage, or other losses arising from misuse of our products or from failure to follow the warning label and instructions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including our name, logo, photography, and text — belongs to Verdestry LLC and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute arising from these terms or your purchase will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Nevada.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted on this site at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
